How do I use my USB PD to XT30 Adapter?

These adapters are one part of a power solution for your equipment. They allow you to provide 5V-20V from a USB PD power source for your equipment. Using USB PD 3.0 these are programmed to a range voltage outputs to suit a variety of users.

USB PD Power Supply and USB C Cable

You’ll need to provide a USB PD power supply and USB C-C cable with the appropriate rating:

  • 5V, 9V or 15V: up to 3A output with a 60W+ USB PD Power Supply, and a 60W E-Marked USB cable
  • 20V: up to 5A with a 100W+ USB PD Power Supply, and a 100W E-Marked USB cable

  • Green LED means 3A+ is negotiated and being supplied to your equipment.
  • Blue LED means 0.5A+ is negotiated and being supplied to your equipment.
  • No LED means the USB power supply does not support the adapter voltage.

Using with Freefly Equipment
